EMD
E7's were the mainstay of passenger power, even as late as 1964. However, they
were superceded by the E8's with their 2250 hp of brute strength, and they in
turn were surpassed by the 2400 hp of the E9's. All told, there were 510 E7's,
457 E8's and 144 E9's roaming the rails of America.
Following our successful E7's, Broadway Limited Imports will release the E6's in
a variety road names and then the more powerful E8's and E9's.
